Umrah is an act of worship that involves visiting the Kaaba in Makkah and performing a set of rituals in a specific order.
Unlike Hajj:
Umrah is not mandatory
It can be performed any time of the year
It is shorter and simpler
Umrah consists of four core steps:
1️⃣ Ihram
Entering a sacred state with intention and simple dress.
2️⃣ Tawaf
Circling the Kaaba 7 times.
3️⃣ Sa‘i
Walking between Safa and Marwah 7 times.
4️⃣ Halq or Taqsir
Shaving or trimming the hair to end Umrah.
Once these are done, Umrah is complete.
People perform Umrah to:
